Guild President, Janet Lucas, challenged members to completed ten projects in 2010. The "10 in 10" Challenge has lots of participants, some getting close to that tenth project being completed.
The monthly Sew Daze are on hiatus for the summer. The next Sew Daze will be Saturday, September 18th.

Activities
The Have It Your Way Block Exchange starts in July with 5 quilters participating.
Five quilters are participating in the July - December Secret Stitchers program.
The next Block of the Month pattern will be available at the July meeting. There's a pieced and applique option. Contact Mary Aubuchon for additional information.
The Row Robin completed. The Six quilters who participated will be sharing their quilt tops at the July meeting during Show and Tell.
Quilt Challenge: The quilts will be displayed and voted on by the attendees at the August meeting. This year the Challenge has been dedicated to the memory of two of our members who passed away; Neva Ross and Vicky Parypa.
Tone on Tone FQ Swap: July is month five and the color is red.
UnFinished Objects (UFOs): This is an ongoing program to encourage completion of those projects we have in process. Bring your UFO to a meeting, share it during Show & Tell, and complete the registration form. When it's complete bring it back and your name is entered in a drawing for a prize.
Quilting Tips:
Plastic gallon milk jugs are great for cutting small appliqué templates out of.
If you cut your pieces for appliqué on the bias they will be much easier to turn.
