Background is minature pieced, my own pieced applique tehnique with some trupunto, thread painting, bobbin work, raw edge applique, and embellished.
I joined the guild in approximately 2002, have been a past president for two terms and enjoy meeting with and working with the members of this guild.
I started collecting thimbles in the last few years, I love the useful kind not the "collectable" style. I also have a few etui which are hard to find. I plan not to leave my children overwhelmed with piles and mountains of fabric, my mother was the queen of collecting and she holds that position forever. My ambition is to plant as many seeds of learning as I can in my lifetime and watch the results of others grow.
