The Grape Quilt hanging at the show.  This quilt was People's Choice the first day of the show.  The quilt is visually striking, carefully constructed and beautifully quilted by Karen Rupp.

Another baby quilt for a member of LouAnn’s family.

Baby quilt for LouAnn’s nephew's newest arrival.

I have been quilting since 1973 and am one of the founding members of the Guild.

I used to hand quilt a lot but I don’t anymore.  Allergies prevent me from sewing more than 2½ hours a day.  I still hand quilt small projects.

I have a weakness for scrap quilts (weakness IS the right word) but enjoy applique, both traditional and modern.  I have completed several jacobean quilts and quite a number of Hawaiian quilts and wall hangings.

I enjoy making raffle quilts. I have made fund raising quilts for the Northwest Association of Beagle Clubs (this year’s is number 27) and raffle quilts for our local 4-H groups.

My current project is an oval mariner’s compass with an ocean waves border that has 1243 2" half-square triangles.  This quilt is at the request of my daughter and I am not enjoying this particular project.
